Alabama Graphics Account Executive Michelle Dunn and I just returned from the Association of Building Contractors (ABC) Annual Convention in Biloxi. We had a great time, and not just because of the endless buffets and slot machines!
Our goal was to get our latest technology in front of the contractors and builders in attendance so they could see the newest products they had to have!
Our iPlan Table really wowed everyone who saw it. It’s such a cool product, and many people were trying to think of ways they could incorporate it into their business and facilities. Everyone agreed that it would be a great tool for estimating and client presentations.
Many contractors liked the idea of using the iPlan Table on a large project, and then leaving it with the facility so there is always a history of the building right there.
Even the event coordinator at the Beau Rivage, where the convention was held, was interested in learning more about the iPlan Table as a solution for their IT department to hook up all their facilities virtually. It really does have tons of applications. Read more about it here.
Attendees were also very interested in our eSuite of products: eDistribution, eCommunication and eProcurement. They liked the idea of saving time with these digital applications, and many requested demos at a later date.
During the show, the “hot topic” was definitely economic growth for contracting companies. People were talking about how to save money while growing their businesses, and Michelle and I were happy to talk to them about how Alabama Graphics can help. There’s so much cost related to printing, shipping and couriering documents, that the iPlan Table and eSuite are tools that can equal real, substantial savings for companies. Digital is the wave of the future, and we’re definitely riding it.
It was great to see so many of our customers at the ABC show, and to let them have some hands-on time with our newest products. It was also great to see such positive reactions to those products!
