REV Birmingham has been shaking things up around the Birmingham community ever since its formation in 2012. When Operation New Birmingham and Main Street Birmingham joined together, they realized they could do some incredible things for the city. And ever since, they have been.
Just like its name states, this economic development organization, is on a mission to revitalize and fuel commercial activity through business recruitment, retention activities, as well as encouraging investments that support citywide economic growth.
Last fall, we joined in on helping REVIVE Birmingham with a huge campaign known as the the Pop-Up Project, which was a part of the Street Life Project. At five target commercial districts, including 3rd Street North, Woodlawn, Ensley, 5 Points South and East Lake, empty storefronts were revitalized with pop-up retail and art installations that’ll help the community visualize the community’s potential..
A couple weeks ago we had the opportunity to work with them again on some window graphics for an Ensley project. See the results below!
